Not too long ago I moved here from Europe so at the moment I'm unemployed in the middle of getting my immigration papers done. In Europe I worked as a lash stylist (eyelash extensions) and loved it! I just started my beauty blog though :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Hello! I work as a Pharmacy technician, so basically I input prescriptions, count out pills, put them in bottles, and I deal with A LOT of health insurance companies over the phone. My job is okay its always busy, theres always a shady character trying to get narcs, and a few crazy people, but then we have some very sweet patients all that make the job worth it :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Its a good enough job to get me through school were i am working on my bachelors in business. BTW, so jealous of everyone working in the beauty and fashion industries!!!

I am an office coordinator for an agricultural lab. It consists largely of data entry, dealing with customers, a/r and a/p, dealing with clients, ordering, meetings, conference calls, not to mention some long hour on occasions, etc. There isn't a large staff at the lab I work at so it's multiple job responsibilities for a lot of the employees. It certainly makes for some interesting job descriptions.  Life is rarely boring at work due to that.

I teach 8th grade English. I teach reading, grammar, and writing in a small town in Alabama. I have great kids and parents and co-workers. I also co-direct our showchoir with my best friend. I love my job. It is never boring! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Im a geriatric nurse in a nursing home and I also work in a rehab center. Im also a mom- thats the best job

I'm a little late to this thread, but I do web programming/design/digital graphics/server maintenance/copywriting/etc for a large-ish company in the petroleum industry. I re-programmed their website from the ground up several years ago after a previous buffoon made a total mess of it & they were getting close to zero traffic. I've been looking after it ever since. Like vogueboy, the company I work for gets a great deal because I do everything they need - and then some. Which means they have no need to hire anybody else. I'm a one-stop-shop. The pay is very good, however. I negotiated my own salary, fair to the company & myself. I love the fact that I work remotely since moving from the city overseas where I was hired several years ago. This allows me to take vacations whenever I want to because my office is my laptop, allowing me to be on the beach in any country I choose & working at the same time when necessary. I pretty much sleep when I want, work in my pajamas, set my own hours, etc. It might sound like I don't work hard, but I do. I'm on-call 24 hours a day, constantly checking my email for any emergencies or urgent requests. Under certain circumstances, I'll go without sleep for up to 48 hours, til I get whatever needs to be urgently done completed. I love my job, to be quite honest. The owner of the company & president are great people, I've known them personally for years, and we've never had any issues between us, despite the fact that they understand little of what goes into the work I do. I consider myself quite lucky because most people I know feel their jobs are complete drudgery. On the side - which brings in some money - I also work with natural raw ingredients, creating non-toxic skin care products focused on anti-aging & acne-prone skin like sunblocks, makeup removers, cleansers, moisturizers, facial exfoliators, spot treatments & specialty masks, as well as a few cosmetic items like setting powders & finishing sprays, plus a few products for pain & injuries such as sprains, burns, cuts/scrapes & deep bruising. Love doing this, have been active in this for many years, but don't have enough time to do this full-time as I once did many years ago. I now mainly create these products for family & friends, as well as myself, who are tired of the many crap products in the stores. I find both jobs a good outlet for my creativity as well as my constant desire to research newer techniques, methods & ingredients. They're both very different in function & form from each other, which makes this a great balance for me.

Currently, I am a police dispatcher. It's pretty interesting considering some nights are intense (BTW, I work graveyard shifts -.-). Other nights it's just people being dumb. I enjoy it because there's something new every day. No interesting stories so far; just the usual prisoner and alarm call every now and then.

I`m a singer so i`m really blessed to being able to make a living on my favorite thing in the world!

I am a freelance writer, editor, social-media specialist... I love working from home and with different clients!

Insurance claim investigator aka make sure you're not scamming us. It's....interesting!

I've been a phonesex operator and webcam performer for the past 3 years. I love working from home and making my own schedule. I have TONS of interesting stories! Unfortunately, most are not appropriate for this forum. But ummm...guys are weird (but sometimes extremely generous!).

I'm a bartender who would love nothing more to stop bartending but the money is too good. I'm also a portrait photographer but unfortunately it doesn't pay the bills yet.

Haha...surprisingly (or maybe not), some guys are super boring. But it sure beats working retail, which is what I did before.

First and foremost, I guess you could say that I'm a graduate student, so much of my time lately revolves around the seemingly endless process of writing my master's thesis.  But outside of that, I also do a number of different things in related fields.  I teach music lessons, and do work as a freelance music producer/composer for various projects.  I also combine this background with the non-profit committees I sit on, and often put on various charitable concerts and events related to human rights and diversity issues.  I love working events and they always have memorable stories, whether it be something embarrassing like fracturing my elbow after doing a Willy Wonka-style roll off a set of stairs (and then continuing on for the evening), or meeting really cool new artists to work with, there's never a dull moment!  So yeah, it's not the most stable (or profitable) field to be in, it's always interesting :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> hah
