Signature Ultimate Long Handled Buki

In March I bought the Signature Buki brush. Yesterday while applying my mineral foundation the handle just came off! All of a sudden the handle felt loose and when I looked, it came off. Has anybody else had problems like this? I don't get it, it's not like I'm rough on the brush, all I do is apply the minerals.

I e-mailed them and have not gotten a response yet, which doesn't make me very happy. Any suggestions?
