I would like to start using tinted moisturiser instead of my usual Mac foundation. Any tips on the best ones?

I heard from so many people to try the Laura Mercier because it is the best out there. I went ahead and spent the money on it, but I was fairly disappointed. Nothing about it wowed me, but that is also the only tinted moisturizer I have tried. It just didn't do much for me personally, and it is supposed to be the best. I guess that just shows tinted moisturizers really aren't for everyone.
I plan on checking out some BB or CC creams next. They seem like the next big thing, and there are lots of options out there. That might be something you could look into. I haven't done much research or tried any yet, but it something to think about.
