Wiki says the population was about 1,350 in the 2000 census. I don't think it has grown much more, lol. Maybe like 1,500.

I grew up in a framing village of 1,400... Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

my particular city within sydney is 131,714 people, apparently. It's not like you can tell though, there aren't any obvious boundaries between cities within Sydney.

I love Sydney but it just doesn't seem that big when your there.... The downtown is pretty compact, imho...

I'm born and have grown up in the country, where usually the people in town reached 15 to 20, 000 tops. I could live there again if i was near a bigger town. All i need really is a place to buy books or a good public library.

I've lived in the parisian area for 10 years now, and i've grown accustomed to that lifestyle and that's where you have most chances to find work, so i think i will stay in that area.

My City's Population: TOO MANY DAMN PEOPLE!

It's just so crowded here.....makes me want to move to the country.

Walmart though is about 25. & my college campus is around 30. Which is where I am most so yea, I'd like to get closer to there.
Pretty much any real civilization (we have a grocery store, gas station, pizza place... that's about it) is a 20 minute+ drive.

Karren - I know, it's weird, isn't it? various suburbs all have their own centres though, so it's not like the central shopping district in the city services all of those 4.3 million

All the cities in the GVRD run into each other. I live 30 drive away from the city of Vancouver. You don't know you are into another city unless you look at the streets that form their boundaries. Shopping is plenty everywhere. I live 20 minutes from the US border, 20 minutes from the nearest ocean beach, 40 minutes from Downtown Vancouver, 1hr away from the nearest ski slopes (2 mountains), 40 minutes from the nearest lake (I have 3 lakes to choose from), 10 minutes from the closest mall, 15 from the next, 20 min from another. 35min drive from Metrotown which is the largest mall in BC (it takes more time to get to Metrotown than Vancouver due to traffic).
