Even though I still don't have my May box, figured it's not too early to think about June, especially now that they have the June add-one up....
It really depends on the look you are going for. For example I have golden blonde hair, and I like to use a taupe color in my eyebrows for strong definition. Is it true you should always pick a shade slightly lighter than your hair color? I don't want to get something that is too dark.
I'm not sure what the general rule is (if there is one). I have near-platinum blonde hair, and since the pale-hair-with-pale-eyebrows thing doesn't really work on anyone except maybe Paul Bettany, I use a shade much darker for my brows. I can say that I've used benefit's previous Gimme Brow product for years, and have found both shades (light/medium and medium/dark) to work well, even with really blonde hair. The differences between the two shades are not super perceptible, and both are cool-toned, which is partly why I like them so much.Is it true you should always pick a shade slightly lighter than your hair color? My hair is slightly darker than yours, and when I use a light brow product, I feel like Lady Gaga (in a bad way). I agree with your sentiments about the color options from Benefit; they both work well depending on the overall makeup look.@@bliss10977 looks like they have new packaging and a new shade...

I don't know how different it will be with a third "medium brown" shade, or if that will also be cool toned.
Wow, really? That surprises me, since I feel like she and lorelei had pretty much become the public "faces" of birchbox. Well, that explains why she wasn't in the last sample choice video. I found her presentation style in the videos to be pretty annoying, so I won't miss her, but it certainly is another in a series of shake-ups over at Birchbox lately.OOT, but did you know Social Media Director of Birchbox, Rachel Jo Silver, left Birchbox recently? I wonder what is going on there. For a company, it's not a good sign to lose executives and co-founder one after another. Hope these changes won't effect the points system and usually great customer service.
