I do the Creative Girls Club for my daughters. They send 2 craft projects per month and the projects usually have several steps so it keeps them busy for a while.  http://www.creativegirlsclub.com/

How old are your girls? Mine daughter is almost 8 and loves crafts.I am wondering if she would enjoy this.  Another idea(not a box, though) is to see if your local Lowe's or Home Depot offers the monthly project. You make them on site or can take them home. My friend suggested it. Last project was a cute gingerbread house. The Feb project looks really cute at Lowe's.

My daughter who is in it now is 7.  My other daughter was enrolled from the time she was 8 to 12, and really enjoyed it.  If there was a project too difficult we would set it aside and tackle it at a later date.  The projects range from beading to painting to sewing.
