For my fellow palefaces ( 'specially my ginger-sisters) who got Carnelian and are worried about it being too dark, I'd say give it a try. I put some on just to see if it was worth buying in a color more suited to me, and I was kind of surprised. It is definitely dark, but honestly, it didn't look half bad.
It will look like a hot mess when you first put it on, but the brush ( which I hated on first sight) actually helps even it out.
For those worried about it slipping, fear not. I think this may be the best lip product I have ever tried for not feathering or bleeding. (And I'm 51 with those fine lines all around my mouth, very prone to feathering, etc)
And it lasted a sweet forever, even through a shower. The shine was gone, but the color was still there. (I didn't wash my lips, but the water ran all over my face when I washed it and no smearing or feathering or anything, even after showering. )
The deepness of the shade may have contributed to the lasting power, but I was impressed enough to order more. Target is sold out, but drugstore.com has a BOGO on one Revlon item, plus 20% off all beauty items and free shipping at $35, so I bit.
