I received my Jan Wantables Accessory box on Friday. Jan's box is a departure from my regular style.. Wantables Accessories allows you to pick from up to 5 different styles - Boho, Classic, Glam, Rock 'n' Roll, and Mix 'n' Match. They have pictures of each style in the survey so you understand what they mean. I usually mark love for Glam and Classic, Like for Boho, and Dislike for Rock 'n' Roll and Mix 'n' Match. This time I selected Love for Boho and disliked the remaining styles for a diifferent look. I marked love for silver/gold tone, scarves and hair accessories and like for bracelets, necklaces, multi tone and watches. Everything else is marked as a dislike. I also wrote a comment in the comment box that I have thick hair and do not want ponytail holders.
I received 2 necklaces and 2 bracelets. I'm relying heavily on Wantable's descriptions.
1. Val Necklace Gold. My younger son calls it the Egyptian necklace. It's more like a colar with blue, gold and ivory beads on it. It's my favorite piece.
2. Leslie Bracelet - It is a wrap bracelet with multi colored beads. It wraps twice and has beads in the middle with silver toned trim. It went well with a shirt hoodie I wore the other day.
3. Amanda Necklace Gold. It is on a long gold chain with a tear drop shaped open stone outlined in a gold-tone. I wasn't sure if I would like this until I wore it with a cardigan. The stone is pink which looked nice against the pink and purple cardigan and purple tank top. The purple showed through the stone.
4. Erica Bracelet - It features a large ivory center stone on a more cuff like bracelet. The style of the stone is cracked. It may be beyond my comfort zone.
This is different than my usual box which is classic/glam and usually has 1-2 scarves, a watch, and a hair accessory or necklace. I do like this box because I wanted something different from what I usually receive. I am going to try to include pictures in my next post.
