Ipsy July 2016 - Spoilers!

Recommended Posts

I actually miss the old sneak peaks where we had to use clues to figure out the products.

Same here! I guess with all the social media and how big Ipsy has become is the cause of these new spoilers.

Mine is live as of this morning.

Meet Matt(e) eyeshadow

Delectable by Cake Beauty Hand Cream

ModelLauncher Felt Tip Liner

Too Faced Hangover Primer

Vasanti Professional Eyeshadow Brush

That's three higher end products in my bag. I LOVE Too Faced and have been wanting to try this primer. theBalm, I don't generally use their little samples they send me, but I might de-pot them and put them in a palette. And Vasanti, I've tried their face scrub before, but not their brushes, so here's hoping they're good! The other two, I've never heard of, but I like my bag this month so far.

I'm getting:

Meet Matt(e) eyeshadow

Trust Fund nail polish- Yay!

Vasanti eyeshadow brush

J.Cat eyebrow pencil- not exactly KaBrow but at least I'm getting a brow product

Lait Creme Concentrate- I have heard so much about this product. Can't wait to try it!!

Eh, not excited about mine this month:

Meet Matte eyeshadow

Too Faced primer

OFRA lip liner

Vasanti eyeshadow brush

Delectable lemon hand cream

I don't hate anything, it's just not terribly exciting. I really wanted that KA Brow product! I like Cake Beauty a lot but their Delectable "everything" balm from last month was a huge letdown. Hopefully this will be better. I'm also happy about getting a brush. They probably sent me the primer because I put Too Faced as one of the brands I like in my quiz.

I got a sample of this from a Birchbox bonus thing with purchase and, although the sample size was tiny, it lasted me forever. And it's a miracle on my skin. I bought the big full size from Sephora!

Like usual I'm happy with my Ipsy bag.

theBalm Cosmetics Meet Matt(e) Trimony Eyeshadow- Eyeshadow is really something I don't need right now. However I love both of the possible colors and I tend to like products from this brand even though they aren't always the most exciting ones to get.

bareMinerals Gen Nude Matte Liquid Lipcolor in Swag- As a brand I don't like bareMinerals. I've had allergic reactions to their face products before. However I'm hoping since this is a lip product I won't have that problem. This color looks like a great one for me so I really hope I have no problems with it.

Delectable by Cake Beauty Delectable lemon & cream ultra nourishing hand cream- Lemon scents are my favorite! Anything light and fruity I love! I'm in need of hand cream and was actually looking at buying this so this is definitely a win!

ML Cosmetics Felt Tip Eyeliner in Emerald Isle- At first I was happy I was getting an eyeliner pen since they are mainly what I use and I have to replace them fairly frequently. Then I realized it's green eyeliner?! The part of me that loves color thinks the shade is gorgeous and that makes me super excited to try it. However the practical side of me wonders how many days I will actually want to wear green eyeliner before it dries out. It will at least be fun to mess with it.

Vasanti Cosmetics Professional Eyeshadow Brush- I'm fine with brushes. However out of the options offered this month it was probably the one I needed the least. It will get used though.

Overall everything in my bag is useful to me and I'm excited to try out several items. I'm a little sad that over a year has gone by and it's been offered multiple times but I still haven't gotten to try a Trust Fund polish. I also probably would have preferred a different brush. I'm in need of a new powder brush so I was eyeing that Revlon one. Finally I would have loved the Not Soap Radio lotion, because it's lemon scented. When life gives you lemons go to the store buy more lemons and then rub them all over until you smell like one of them.

I don't mind my bag (not a fan of the actual bag though...umbrellas? They look like mints..)...

Trust fund polish (LOVE polish!)

BareMinerals lip color (yay! Not a pencil and not red!)

Eva nyc hair serum (meh...just received Eva nyc oil 2 months ago)

Vasanti eyeshadow brush (love getting brushes!)

Cooling lotion (high value item and will benefit my oily skin and red cheeks).

Overall a good bag for me, considering some of the other possible items.

I was supposed to get the too faced primer but I got mascara instead. Meh

Woah, I have never had something show up different then what was in my glam room. I'm sorry that happened to you, especially since it wasn't something you would've liked better.

I got my bag too and got the face primer. I didn't check ahead of the time what I was getting so I have no idea if it changed from the original or not. I just find the sharing thing so annoying to see the bag so I just don't do anything. This is my best bag to date. I got the brush, Too Faced face primer, Avene Micellar toner, Embryolisse Creme and TheBalm mini eyeshadow (same as @Bizgirlva). My previous bags have had maybe 1 or 2 products or none that I'm interested in so this is a major improvement but I'm sure next month will be a whole another story.  :)

They made it so you don't share to see your glam bag ahead of time. Now you just have to wait until they're live and see them then.

ok, thanks for the clarification @KrissyMichelle. I obviously don't log into IPSY often enough to figure it out. :) I don't know why but I'm just not so keen on their system to begin with. I need to get more with it though. :D

No response from IpsyCare regarding my primer vs mascara.

I don't really get the feeling that IpsyCare...cares....

Wait are all ipsy glam bags the same? I thought they personalized it a little bit more to your interests...?

Glam bags are "personalized" to each individual's profile. I feel they're more randomized than personalized but that might just be me.

So I kind of signed up for a second bag. I really wanted that Hourglass foundation and I needed exactly 250 points to get it. I wasn't expecting to get an Ipsy bag for this account so fast though! I remember being on the wait list for around two months on my main account and this one went through in less than a week! I tried to answer the questions a little differently but I honestly can't remember how I answered them on my main account.

theBalm Cosmetics Meet Matt(e)Trimony Eyeshadow in Matt Moskowitz- So this is the only repeat I received. I'm happy though because I at least got the color I didn't have. Now I have both colors!

Sedona Lace Synthetic Blender - EB 13- This brush is super soft and pretty with it's pink bristles! I love getting brushes!

GLAMGLOW GRAVITY MUD FIRMING TREATMENT- This mask sounds interesting but I'm not a huge fan of GLAMGLOW honestly. I'm sure that some people would have loved to get this but it's just kind of meh to me. Also I'm not really sure why I got a mask that seems like it's more for more mature skin than that of a 22 year old.

Not Soap, Radio When life gives you one too many lemons body lotion- I'm super happy about this! I love lemon everything and I really wanted this!

BellaPierre Cosmetics Banana Setting Powder- I've never used a setting powder like this but I'm super excited to try it!

Overall I'm really happy with my second bag. My only complaint is that I still haven't gotten a Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish.

    • I have been backsliding, but backsliding in a better way than before. The money has felt tighter than normal lately. I decided not to be too hard on myself, because part of that was from losing my second job due to COVID. Also I joined a new church, and really want to keep up with the tithing. That has become important to me. I found I need to tighten the budget and cut back on too much takeout/delivery [Door Dash is my vice]. That's hard for me. I was not budgeting well, and I found myself the week before Father's Day with not enough money for gifts and food that week, so I opened a new credit card. I used that to buy gifts and food, then some more food and takeout. I feel really badly about that.  BUT my old self would have just kept the card, and gone shopping for beauty items with it too, and I would have given up on my No Buy/Project Use It Up. NOW I caught myself after about two weeks of this backsliding, cut up the card, took the card number out of the computer. Because if it's there, it's too much temptation. And I kept right on using my old beauty stuff, I was not even tempted to buy new beauty stuff, just food!  Now I will wait for the bill for the new credit card to come in the mail and work on paying it off. The fact that I am rebounding like this instead of going back to my old behavior is a really good sign! I do need to work on the eating out. Getting Nutrisystem was not such a good idea. The dry food is hard to eat and it is pretty expensive too. But I will keep trying to change my food habits. Until now, I have not really had to do that to achieve my goals. We're moving into the higher goals now.
    • Men with gray hair are often flattered for their distinguished looks. Timothy Olyphant, John Slattery and other stars demonstrate the attractive face of gray hair. We hope they help you discover the cut that will best suit your gray hair. Take a look at these three guys in the photo above. The photo on the right shows Adam Lambert (born 1982), who is the youngest of the three. He probably doesn't want to praise senior citizens, but instead prefers to wear his voluminous gray hair to stand out from the crowd. Some young stars like Adam Lambert and Kelly Osbourne love to wear gray hair and enjoy playing with cliches. Of course, such characteristic appearances draw the attention of young Hollywood-obsessed youth. The white hair mixed with natural colors in the heads of young stars attracts more sure looks that lilacs, pinks or greens and go unnoticed. In the photo Timothy Olyphant (born 1968) appears in the center, as does his hairstyle. His “salt and pepper” hair near his temples and on his beard makes him look naturally distinguished and adds the appeal of the hair growth products for african american hair mature man who knows who he is and what he wants. Why change something that works so well? This can also be applied to John Slattery (born 1962), on the left of the photo. Almost all of John Slattery's hair lacks pigment and is therefore close to the transition from silver to white. His modern hairstyle and carefree demeanor show a person who knows how to step forward without getting nervous. No wonder it arouses as much admiration as desire.  Best hairstyles for men with gray hair Whatever the way that stars and celebrities wear or (pretend to) assume their gray hair, since they discover their first gray hair, most men (or women) have only one emotional response: “Oh no! Get rid of them! ” After the first shock of noticing that time passes while we don't realize it, most men at least cut their hair or shave off their beard that is starting to turn gray. This reaction is very constructive. In the photo, Matt Damon demonstrates how interesting haircuts are for men with gray hair. This is also the most popular hairstyle of all time for men with gray hair. George Clooney teaches us how to wear gray hair with style and class.     It can take a while for people to get used to the idea of having gray hair. It is best to have a strategy when the first isolated gray hairs cannot be hidden or plucked for much longer. Why not let gray hair mix freely with the rest of your mane? Adam Lambert, Timothy Olyphant and John Slattery (see photo above) demonstrate how to do it with class. Jeff Bridges, with his shoulder length gray hair and thick beard, is the image of a nature lover, like his younger colleagues, Charlie Hunnam and Jake Gyllenhaal. https://folexin.info/ https://skincellpro11.weebly.com/
    • Love the placement and subtlety of the cat eye and subtle cut crease.  It looks gorgeous. I'm trying to perfect the cut crease with white eyeliner lately.  I've only practiced it twice so I have a long way to go.
    • Essential hydration The dermis is made up of 70% water and the epidermis 15%. To maintain a good level of hydration, it is therefore important to opt for daily moisturizers that balance the water level at the heart of the skin. You can also regularly use a moisturizing mask, it ensure both your face health and beauty by removing the excess using a mist of thermal water.
