Another New Face!

Hi everyone,

My name is Natalie, I'm a student in my early 20s, and (obviously) I'm new around here. I suspect I'm different than most though, in that I'm really geeky and never really put much thought into my appearance. I wore jeans and a t-shirt (plus a hoodie if it was cold) every day for like the past 10 years? Mainly because I didn't really care how I looked, but there were also some self-confidence issues as well. Anyway, last year I discovered that since I have a really tiny waist, I can pull off some cute feminine shirts really well, and started being more concerned about how I present myself in public. I still do nerdy outdoorsy stuff all the time (primarily in the name of photography), so I'm still not the kind of girl that goes walking around in dresses and manicured nails and whatnot.

Anyway, the main reason I joined here is to get advice on how to style my difficult hair and how to do my make so my face doesn't look like an alien/cartoon; my knowledge of both is seriously lacking. Welcome! I've seen another of your posts, looks like you're making yourself right at home.
