So girls, share all your tips/ideas/techniques on how you do your make up or even just your eye make up. Step by step pics would be great but if you can't do that, text will do just fine too!
ok, I tried this a couple of days ago and it looked so cool (but also a little funky..so I would only wear it to go out to a club). I don´t have a digi cam or webcam, sorry (so use your imagination
)
1. I applied a light neutral (Vanilla e/s) as base from lashline to brow
2. then I applied Waveline fluidline (navy) on lashline, crease and outer upper corner and smudged everything with the 219 pencil brush (maybe there´s a better choice for this, I don´t know)to get a smokey eye-kinda thing. lined my inner rims with it too. you have to smudge it pretty quick though, otherwise it will dry and not blend that easy any more.
3. then I applied a bright, light green (Juxt) to only the areas of the lid that weren´t covered by the fluidline. so mainly the first 2 thirds. and applied it lightly on the lower lashline too.
4. no blending!!!! (well, maybe a TINY bit)
5. tons of MF 2000 Calorie mascara
ok..hope this makes sense. I just thought it looked cool with the contrast of dark blue and bright green without blending it. but it might look even better on someone with dark coloring.
Ok... did my FOTD step by step (please forgive the hair.... took me so long to do this it started to dry & frizz on its own)
Start with a bare face (ah!)
I also prepped beforehand with moisturizer, then dabbed astringent on my lids and T-zone.
1. I sprayed some MAC Fix+ all over my face.
2. I used a wedge to apply & blend foundation
3. I applied pressed powder to set foundation & dry up oils
4. I tap the brush into the blush, and while smiling, apply in a circular motion onto the apples of the cheeks, & blend toward hairline. I also sweep a bit over nose, forhead & chin.
5. I applied Urban Decay Primer Potion & MAC Cream Color Base to lids... These help keep the e/s on longer.
6. Next I use Ardell brow Gel to keep em' in place
11. Next I curl my lashes, apply mascara from the root of the lash and kind of 'wiggle' the wand up to the tips. I then take a demo wand to go through top and bottm lashes and comb out any clumps & separate lashes.
Wow! Janelle, that was awesome!! Thanks for doing the step-by-step! I've heard about Fix+, but I've never tried it. What does it really do? Do you use it daily? Is it really worth trying this stuff out? I may have to get some.

) but thankfully my mascara does the trick...u have beautiful clear skin by the way!!!
Thanks guys (& mom! lol) It took awhile, but luckily the pics came out relatively well! hooray!
(FINALLY!) lol
I actually got the spray free @ the counter b/c they didn't have any to buy after the MA used it on me & I really liked it - I offered to buy the tester, but she just let me have hers that she used for demos an refilled it for me.
I think it's only about $9 a bottle, and it lasts awhile. Its a moisture spray.. you can spray it on before foundation to help it lay nicer, and then spray throughout the day as you want to help 'refresh' it. I'll sometimes give a spritz later in the afternoon & just pat it on w/ the sponge. It really helps if your foundation tends to get cakey or dry later in the day. It's nice to keep with you for a quick pick-me-up... especially if you go out at night or after work or the gym & you don't want to look like you've had the "makeup on all day' look - keeps it fresh looking, and seems to work really nice!
Here's the info on it from the MAC site. (They say $12.50 - but the SA told me $9 or $9.50)
