whoa! i'm trying to remember when I started using mac. i know i wasn't really into the actual LE collections until this year. but i think i've been shopping there since like 2002 or 2003.

They look like piggies, but they're shadows. i guess she had to scrape them out to make these samples. but they are shadows!

Blue pigment comparisons

"At first glance, they appear to be exactly the same. However, IMO the discontinued blue pigment is more . . . pigmented. For instance, in the photo of the swatches on my skin, I had to swipe the Rebel Rock blue twice to get that color and the old blue only once. The texture felt different also. You know how veluxe pearls almost feel "wet"? Yea, well the old blue feels "wet" while the new one doesn't. It's not a super big difference, but as an artist I prefer the old blue and the new one is just not the same. To most of you, this won't matter because you can now get your hands on the "highly sought after pigment", but just know that it's not exactly the same."





 
i'm loving the eye shadows so far! damn! i really didn't want to like a lot of stuff from this collection

damn, damn, damn... more to buy *cries* MAC is killing me with these LE's. I just called mac yesterday and ordered 2 of the empty pallettes (sp?) 15 pans. Now another great new collection.

However thanks for the heads up Liz, at least now I know I need to save.

 
Anybody know the actual release date? as theres a few different dates flying around the internet and also rumours that its NOT a worldwide release

you know i might get speared for this one ,but i think mac is a bit overated,i love the es and glosess but i dont think the color selection is the best it could be

 
i think it comes out on july 17th. because my bday is the day after. i was trying to figure out how i was gonna pay for stuff, and was like "oh! b-day $$!" hehe.

if not the 17th, than later in july *shrugs*

i think i just want some of the skinshimmers and a few eye shadows. i think the stuff is gonna be really glittery, which i don't like
