Use concealer which is slightly lighter than your complexion, on your brow bone blended; this makes your eyes look more 'alive'.

when i noticed that my cream makeup was settling into the creases on my forehead i started putting makeup just on the bottom of my face. then i use a light powder bronzer on my forehead for balance. it makes me look alot more natural and no more weird makeup lines on my forehead.

Yeah, I don't have creases on my forehead - but I don't put makeup there because it doesn't really need it (no blemishes, no pimples, not dry, not oily). When I do, it feels like a heavy face...

Wow...I never thought of putting makeup just on the bottom of my face...recently, though, I started putting foundation just a little below the hairline, sorta halfway down the forehead. I do agree that it makes the makeup more natural! I have pics where I have obvious foundation lines on my forehead because my scalp appears darker...eww.

Do you think this would work with the jawline as well? I recently noticed that somehow my foundation looks more obvious around the lower cheek and jawline. I try to blend it to the neck as much as possible, but I still get a cakey appearance that makes the foundation look thick. Weird, because on the cheeks the foundation looks like my natural skin color, but on the lower cheek and jaw it looks a tad whiter.

One trick I have is that I use concealer on my brows to give me a really nice 'clean' look when I'm in between tweezes. I apply a puddy-like concealer same color as my skin where the hair grows under the arch with an angled brush and then fill in. It makes my brows look perfect! I learned that from a MAC artist.

Great thread Celly and awesome tips everybody!Thnx!

Ever since I started pluckin, threading my eyebrows I do the top hairs cuz it's a much cleaner more sophisticated look!

Some people believe that you may turn the velous hair (the fine hair we have all over our bods) darker if you wax above the brow, or that waxing above the brow can distort your natural shape, which in some cases is true, but generally not, it really depends on the person, their brow shape, etc.

Eve Pearl the makeup artist does a good job a debunking this myth in her book "Plastic surgery without the Surgery". She says that hair anywhere on your face can be shaped, groomed, removed.. If it makes things better, why not?

In Secrets of Porn Stars (sorry I like to read..) they do this to make their lipstick last for all those "oral" scenes. The only variation is that they brush pressed powder over their lip and then reapplied lipstick for the last two steps...
Hey Karen, did you know that clear mascara is really just clear styling gel? I buy that stuff by the tub and brush my eyebrows in place using an angled head baby's toothbrush. Works great.

My white liner always gets clumpy on the bottom inside lid. I wonder what I'm doing wrong

One thing that works real well for me, and maybe everyone already knows this is to line the upper lid under the lashes. Do the water line. It's a snap and anyone that has thin lashes get immediate fullness at the lash line.

Eve Pearl....I think she's pretty smart. She says the best concealer is salmon color. Better than yellow for shadows, green for blemishes. It works...it's like my own skin color. I was lucky and had a blush that feels more like a makeup stick that is salmon and I didn't have to purchase hers at $35 although I'm sure it's worth it. Go to her site to check our her techniques. Just google 'Eve Pearl' She does a lot of big name celebrities

I just did this today and thank you!!! It looks great. Awesome tip.

Lining the waterline with a white eyeliner pencil and also applying a light shimmery eyeshadow on the inner corners makes your eyes look brighter.

great tips thanks every one ..I have written alot of tips from books and websites... bcz I dont apply make up I cant remeber them now lolzzzz...but I will find my notebook and share it with you

i can't line my waterline or i get tears everywhere. so one tip i do is i apply some black kajal/khol on top of the root of my lower lashes. it gives them more punch without having to line anything or apply mascara. i figured it balances more my eye makeup when i only concentrate eyeshadow and eyeliner on the upper lid.

much more crazy, i also use my angled brush (MAC 266) to apply eyeshadow in the crease

what i do is i dip my brush into the eyeshadow/pigment, then half open, half close my eyes, so i can see my crease. i dip the point in the crease, and starting from the outer corner i draw a bow of color until i reach the inner corner. you may have to do this twice if you want a lot of color in the crease as you spread the eyeshadow.

my eyes are slightly deep set so when my eyes are full opened, you can only see the crease eyeshadow in the outer corner, i like the fact it's a bit hidden.

If you have a mascara mishap...dont touch it...let it dry completely and then flake off with a q-tip...it will not remove any of your foundation.

because of my oily skin and oxydation my cream foundation, that started out matching my skintone in the morning, looked dark and somewhat muddy by the evening. i now use a foundation a shade lighter first and then follow that with my normal color. this keeps my foundation colorfast and looks even more like my natural complexion as the day wears on.

great tip!

as my tip, i use sun block+ little foundation + brither color powder+ pink cheek blusher

look more youger for myself.. haha~!

I use a dry disposable mascara wand to flake off dry mascara mistakes on the skin. Run it gently over and it doesn't even bother the shadow.
