I use OpenOffice, with backups on Google Drive.
I personally have one sheet for indie products (95% of which are loose shadows), with separate pages for colors, and a few extra pages for colors I love that are more specific (for example, 'olive green,' 'true purple,' etc). I then have a column each for duochrome (N/A for none, description if there is one), finish, size, sparkle (N/A or description), glitter (yes there's a difference to me, NA or description), plus the brand and shade name, and one more column for notes.
All of my personal non-indie products have a sheet for each for type, and then separate pages for brand if I have more than 15 or so of that type.
Samples, sub box stuff, etc have ANOTHER sheet, with pages according to type.
And then there's my company stock/inventory sheets and pages, and my sales sheets and pages... it's a good thing I like filling out spreadsheets, tbh.
