I am adding MAC Studio Fix Fluid to my want list. I know many get breakouts from it, but I really want to try it anyway. I do plan on treating it like my ColorStay. I will wash with olive oil to make sure I get every last bit off my skin. Maybe that will be enough to prevent breakouts.

 
I think I do. It's been a month now, and so far I don't feel too tempted by anything. It's been really fun playing with my UD palette and MAC pigments, and that has really motivated me to really focus my spending on a few higher end items versus a bunch of items that I buy more for cost than for any real want.

 
I kinda feel the same way too. Even though I have yet to buy anything high-end I find myself not wanting everything in the drugstore. Knowing I'm saving a lot of money by not buying wasteful drugstore products for hopefully better products is great.

So, it's been almost five months and I am not looking back! I no longer feel the urge to buy drugstore makeup, and my collection feels so much more rounded out now. I notice I put way more thought into my purchases too. I think after a year I will do a new batch of pictures of my stash to see how it's changed over time.

But I'm really liking the new things I've been seeing from Milani and I'm interested in trying some things out from them.

 
I would love to see those pictures of how your collection has changed.

I also bet you have purchased less make up (as in less shadows ect. even if you did spend the same amount) but got more stuff that you really love and use

 
I have been updating my list, and even trimmed a bit. I removed all the MAC pigment wants. I just don't think I really want them anymore, even if they were the old packaging. Maybe I was just into the hype. I did order my first Dior quints, and can't wait to get them!

Also, I am thinking about removing the Urban Decay palettes from my list, and just buying any single shadows I might want.

 
Good job! You have some great products there!!

Until I started coming to MUT I only bought more expensive products. I found that I was more careful with my purchases and used my products more and appreciated them a lot. I'm starting to try some cheaper products to see if I like the quality just as well, but still only using things that have came recommended. So far, so good. But I am envious of the giant bins and cases full of makeup you guys post...

As you can tell from my signature I have ended my no buy. About a month premature, but I think it is time. I will try to update my stash soon, and show the difference from before I did my no buy.

Hmm, perhaps I should try something similar, but then I would not get my hands on Gosh...
