And I hope you're my SS!

I was thinking about buying the mini set but I'm trying SO HARD to not buy myself things until after Christmas & my birthday.
Same here.

I have a big family, so I just am trying not to buy things for myself, so I have more money for gifts for everyone else.

Let's see, there are places like Myers and David Jones that have beauty departments but they tend to only have the high end brands (think Chanel, Dior, MAC, Bobbi Browm, Lancome, YSL, Shisedo) and oddly Revlon which has managed to market themselves as high end in Australia. They charge upwards of twice what the same products cost in US/UK once you do exchange rate conversions and have a limited range. OPI retails for $20 for instance. Priceline is the equivalent of CVS/Walgreens - think Revlon, Maybelline, Covergirl, L'Oreal and a few other local equivalent level brands. The best specialist cosmetics store is Mecca Cosmetica but it's still very inflated prices and a quite low range of brands. They do have NARS though. And then individual brands that are quite good (like Napolean Perdis) sell all over the place at randomm locations, like at my local chemist/drugstore along side the ibuprofen and body washes?... weird.

Some brands are pretty much impossible to get; OCC, China Glaze, MUFE, Stila are all on my quick dash list to get to whenever I travel to a Sephora!

Hence I shop a fair bit on beautybay.com and sasa.com!

I really love Mirenesse.com - they're Australian and ship to the US.  The base prices are totally out of line, but they run so many sales you just have to wait a couple days and the prices will be slashed.

I'm sure this is an obvious one.. but I went to T.J. Maxx today and they had SOO many goodies that all of us ladies could use for our SS.   Nyx, Elf, Pacifica, Elizabeth Arden, Batiste, Shiseido, H2O, Yes To, Essie, Body Shop, Strivectin, Korres.  I always have to remind myself to go there and look at their beauty section because you can really find some good stuff!

Great ideas, ladies. I went to target yesterday and they gad a few of those OPI Nicole polishes on clearance and some Sally Hansen ones. I didn't have time to look though the rest of the makeup section,

More Secret Santa ideas. Some people won't mind getting "drugstore" items so the Freeman Beauty Mystery Bag may be worth buying. It's on sale for $20. Here's what came in my first Mystery Bag (I've ordered a 2nd one).

And here are all the items I also ordered it.

I purchased the Rosemary & Mint body wash for $5.99, got the Psssst Dry shampoo (using the promo code WELCOME) and Strawberry & Chocolate clay mask for free (free gift with purchase). Shipping was free as a result otherwise I think the shipping is like $7.99.

Each mystery bag contains different items and for my 2nd purchase I ordered two of the Papaya & Coconut shampoos (since the box only came with the conditioner) and the Charcoal scrub since I'm cheap and the Todd Michael one is $18.50 for only 3.4 oz..

That looks great Zadi! Nice purchase and that would be great to split for gifts! I love Freeman products.

I agree, that all looks great. I personally love face masks and the C. Booth oil is wonderful!

I love buying sets, usually a pretty good deal for the amount that is given, I've thought about getting a few of those sets for Christmas stocking stuffers. Love Christmas time!

I'm so hooked, cannot wait for more Holiday Goodies and Sephora's 20% off coupon (and gift card for VIB's/Rouge) which should be coming any day now. Last year they hit around the fourth of Nov. I went crazy, I'm still using some of the Makeup!! I was disappointed with Sephora's Black Friday Specials, if I remember correctly they were lots of low cost items to begin with, nothing super compelling. I did much better with the discount!

Book Of Shadows Vol. IV Redux palette is only 25.60 if you use the 20% coupon that was emailed last week!
