Brilliant!! I'll try that out too!

The Skindinavia isn't it? I've been trying out a MUFE one and like it so far. I set my foundation/concealer with powder for longevity and to help with transference, but don't want to look too matte or cakey lol.

Can you guys suggest a toner? I currently don't have one, and I think I'll be placing my 5th Sephora order since this sale. The Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Nectar is now available (it was out of stock), and I want to get it. But I need $8 more for free shipping. I'm thinking about a makeup remover since I'm out (I currently have the Target rip-off of the Neutrogena makeup remove ) or a toner to add to my skincare routine. What are your favorite makeup remover and/or toner from Sephora? I have combination to oily skin in the summer (it's very dry in the winter). Thanks!!
If it needs to be from Sephora...I love the Clinique Acne toner, it works great. I am trying to go more natural with skincare so switched to the Michael Todd True Organics Blue Algae Toner and I really like it. I have been using that with their Ultra Lite Cream and my skin has been glowing. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

That's one of them, but there's a few that he mentions he likes XD

Thank you so much for your suggestions! I actually ended up getting the Lancome Tonique Radiance and Douceur after hours of deliberation. Haha. I couldn't choose between the two so I just got them both -- I figured I'll use them both and switch up depending on how my skin is on that day. Or if I just exfoliated, I'll use the Douceur one since it's gentler and alcohol-free; and if my skin's feeling particularly icky, then I'll use the Radiance, which is exfoliating and alcohol-based. For makeup remover, I think I'll just get a cheap one some other time, maybe the Neutrogena. So I ended up spending $50 more (instead of $8 for free shipping), but that's ok since I would surely be using my new toners! I'm also excited about the Shimmer Block in Nectar. I love coral everything!

Anyone else tried the Lancome toners? Shimmer Block?

I'll try it that way tomorrow. I read somewhere that it creases badly if you don't set it with a powder -- but I'll try it without!

He is :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> He doesn't just go like: I'm a pretty girl with flawless skin, look at me doing my makeup(like a lot of YT ""gurus"")

Ok so I'm doing my last Chic Week order and I need some advice :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Any BB/CC/Tinted Moisturizers you would recommend? I'm trying to find my HG product---currently using a Marcelle BB I bought from Birchbox and have tried Garnier and Tarte's new one recently as well.  FWIW, I have dry skin and mostly just need help evening out skin tone so a light coverage would probably work just fine and I would like to have some SPF in there as well.

In my cart, I currently have Clinique's new CC cream and SHISEIDO Urban Environment Tinted UV Protector Broad Spectrum SPF 43

TIA!

I have a feeling Ken Gen Do is going to be my new luxury item! I tried their emollient cream and OH MY, I'm addicted!

Hey, I noticed Asphyxia isn't online, but it's at the store...is it going away too? I thought it was new-ish? Am I wrong?
Oh yeah.  I have fallen in love with Korean skincare lines. Everything I've tried from both Amore Pacific and Ken Gen Do is incredible - and incredibly expensive!  Missha is pretty niffy brant too. So I'm with ya there... I do love me some Murad, Ole Hendricksen, Algenist, and Dr. Brandt for more targeted treatments but if my skin is feeling dry/bland/meh the Korean stuff cures it  and feels so luxurious.

Asphyxia is one of the new shades (previously only a LE from the 15th Anniversary pencil collection) so I'm sure it'll be there soon.

Ah Ok, awesome. I saw it at Ulta and I was panicking a bit because I wasn't sure whether I should buy it or not. I chose not to, since I wanted Scorch. lol! Asphyxia is so gorgeous though!

I've tried so many and like a handful...but none are so-called HG for me.

- Smashbox - Great coloring for white girl generic skin but not enough coverage for me and requires some work to blend in.

- Dr. Jart - Great formula, wrong colors for me.

- Missha - Great formula (similar to Jart), but still not quite right for me.

- Marcelle - Okay, but was unclear about SPF which is one of the perks with BB cream for me.

- Boscia - Good coloring, good coverage (which I prefer), last all day.  Takes a little work to apply but currently my fav.

- Urban Decay - NOT a BB cream but really a fancy primer.

- Dr. Brandt - It's suppose to match to your skintone.  It almost does but weird formula.  Can't recommend.

My top picks right now would have to be Boscia and Smashbox. The Marcelle isn't bad though. Missha is too light right now for me and I don't want to buy another shade...

On a daily basis I also tend to grab Jouer Tinted Moisturizers a lot but they can be difficult to blend in also.  I'm not sure I'll repurchase when they're gone but we'll see.

Hahahha. you're so right about the UD. It makes my skin FEEL good (smooth) but it doesn't look any different!

Well I ended chic week with a major bang, thus my wallet is gonna major hate me for a while.  Although, a lot of this may be going back if certain things dont work out

For those of you talking about concealer, have you tried applying powder lightly with your softest fluffiest brush. That is how I do my Bobbi Brown concealer. That does come with its own powder though so it could also be the kind of setting powder.
