I'm still hoping for a shimmery eye palette

So I was looking at the porn stars above trying to figure out what it could be...took a look at the pallets and although this pallet doesn't have the lighter color the blonde has, it does have a green and the reddish color the brunette is wearing...anyhow..I was thinking maybe the Paris pallet! This is only my fourth month so I don't have much experience with the Looksbook vs actual box contents, so could be totally wrong. But bright colors are the thing this season! I am pretty sure both porn-models have blush on and not bronzer, but I'm hoping for a bronzer. I need one but am putting off buying one figuring that hopefully one of my boxes will contain one in the upcoming months since summer is approaching and all. My guess though, regardless, is the focus is the eyes and cheeks.
Oh and maybe you can use both the lighter and darker orange colors that are on the ends as a blush. Maybe the brunette is wearing the darker one and blonde the lighter? I dunno!

I was hoping if it was a palette, it would be Rome, as that has shimmer shades. Paris looks to be all matte. That said - Starlooks is not very good on the shades shown and what the shades actually are....It could be a brand new one

Rome was the other one I thought it might be. I had ended up going w Paris because Brunette has such vivid red eyes and the pink of Rome didn't really match, but that doesn't mean that you couldn't combine colors in Rome to get that. Rome has the shimmer that they have going on for sure. Paris looks matte, I think. I agree...I'd pick Rome over Paris, just cause it's more practical but I'd be ok w Paris too. Anything is better than the box I gave away from last month. I attempted to rock the red. My husband took one look at me and just said "no way". Ahhh....men's honestly. But he was right and I appreciate that. It made a very nice gift for a friend at work. And I only use the lipstick from February's box. But now I'm being selfish and want a box all to myself! Waaahaahaaha! But considering this will box five from them for me (forgot to count December) and two have been meh, I am really hoping for a good one.

I'm finding I love my February lipstick (I lucked out and ended up with BFF) more and more every day! I usually wear it over Tipsy or Cherry Blossom (I think that's the one I received in January that I can actually wear), and it pulls these into a very Spring 2014 place. Metallics are apparently big this season, and I don't usually go for fashion-y trends just to be on-trend (I'll look at them just to get more ideas, like this look I just saw that featured a pale lid and bright aqua crease. I just realized I did something similar last summer with a coral lid and bright blue crease), but it is a nicely softer version of the way I usually wear color. It's somehow not a dated '70s disco frosty look. It's more... '60s/'70s sci-fi, maybe? It might be dated, but it's dated in a different way that works for me.
Anyway. If we're getting a blush as we seem to suspect, I doubt we'll also get an eye palette. That just seems like too much *stuff* for them to send out in I'm hoping for a single shadow, a single blush, and an eye brush this month, and then a palette and a Tendergloss next month. It seemed like we received a palette every other month towards the end of last year, and I still haven't even swatched the ones from November and December I could actually go a good long while without a palette if we got tutorials back! I want more ideas/inspirations on how to wear the specific items sent out.
Anyway. If we're getting a blush as we seem to suspect, I doubt we'll also get an eye palette. Wow, I was just going over what what was sent out last year, and we received over twenty different products in various shades:
We only received items one or two times in different shades (except for the time we received a half-sized copper pigment, but although that was a product I use as eyeshadow, the intent behind including it in the box was to use it with lotion as a fake tan solution. Oh, and three pot gel eyeliners, but two of them are more of a cream shadow/base sort of thing than something most people would use as actual eyeliner). Two Gem pencils, two powder blushes (one was a three-pan palette), two Tenderglosses -- and only one lipstick! That really surprised me. The past few months have really distorted the frequency of lipsticks for me. No lip products at all in January, May, June, July, November, or December.
Anyway. My point. I should have one of those. Now that I've looked over the box composition for last year, I'm thinking we might be in for a few lip product-less boxes in a row since we received two lipsticks *and* a lipliner in February and March. They really need to get some more variety going soon. Yeesh, I think it's a whole 'nother week before boxes start shipping! Don't they know we need our new toys already?

More excited about this box than the rest but I think I am still going to cancel after I get my referral box. I've only used 1 or 2 products out of the last few months and the rest just sit there. Its $17 a month I can save towards something else. And... I just caved and bought the chocolate bar palette... BUT I got it for $29 and it came with a full size shadow insurance /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

yes, I've only been sub'd since December and the only month for me that was a total hate with a passion was March. I really liked december's palette, loved the lip colors and eyeliner I got in Jan and I use the pigment shadow from february - I was able to swap for the lip color I wanted and sold my BFF on ebay. The hologram I still have, but rarely use. But only because I have so many shadows in this color. I am trying not to purchase champagne colors so I can work my way thru them....lol
March was a total hate. I cannot express how much I hated it. I really really hated it.

I've been subscribed since last March, plus I picked up January '13 and February '13, and despite knowing how much I utterly despised March '14, I signed up for a full year because I dug out everything I received last year, and I really do use pretty much everything. I might not use every item every day/week/month, but I'm a epic skitterer when it comes to makeup, so I'm just not using those items *right now*. I will return to them in the future. Like that shimmery eyeshadow palette from July. I haven't used it since September -- because those are summery colors for me, so I'm waiting until June/July to start using it again. I haven't touched the December palette, but those are autumnal colors for me.
Anyway. If I wasn't getting this box, I would be spending *far* more than $17 a month on random crap just to fill the WANT NEW MAKEUP void, so it's worth the money for me even though the mere thought of that March box makes me want to send hate-filled email. Everyone's mileage will vary wildly, but I am finding it easy to go to Sephora, look at everything, and decide, "Hmm, I think I will wait and see what's in Starbox this month." Except for the Sephora SummerStash bag, but that's on a completely different plane of existence and should not count here!

I do feel a bit bad for the vlogger, but I mean really, she had an epically awesome shot at making her OWN box and it fell short. I wonder if perhaps Starlooks had more of a say than we are giving her credit for?

someone commented on my no-so-complementary review of the march starbox in my blog and stated that she did curate it.
I honestly do not believe she had that much input into it. Why on earth would anyone curate a box that had 2 of the 3 items that were in the holiday set? If someone picked me to do a box, I would make sure I didn't pick products that had been put into sets already.
