getting an apartment of your own is a huge step and it was such a great experience for me.

Could you believe i NEVER lived on my own? I lived with my parents until the day I got married, then I lived with my hubby.

anyways, I lived past 2 years alone for school, and it was an experience that I really treasure, because I think it allowed me to learn and discover things about myself that I had never thought of. and Yes, you do accumulate a lot of crap when you have your own place.. lol

Northern california is awesome (I stayed in Davis, near Sac)! I'm from southern CA, but really fell in love with the atmosphere of northern CA. The only thing I didn't like too much was the weather, hehe!!!

I remember when it 1st rained in Davis, and I ran into the GAP and asked for the thickest warmest jacket they have, and the sales person looked at me and said, "you're from LA aren't you?" :moa:
