Shoot this is going to drive me nuts with which show it is....

Wish yo uthe best with your health and all. That seems really tough.
I get to see a spine specialist tomorrow, so I'm hoping this is the beginning of the end.  I think they are going to schedule an epidural spinal block to try to stop the pain.  I'm a little freaked out about needles in my back, but honestly, if it'll allow me to go up the stairs to my bed instead of constantly sleeping on the couch, I can be okay with it.   :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Also, that might actually BE HIMYM.  It sounds super familiar.  Maybe it just sounds like a very Marshall thing to do...   :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Yeah, I said it...
I just showed this to the BF and he said..."Yup sounds about right"!  I game too, but I let Him buy everything and then the power lays directly with me. I "let" him invite me to play then I "blame" him when I have to finish a game.... I'm an RPG girl, and although I know that a LOT of people were upset by it, I am currently loving the Sh*t out of Diablo III!

( my original thought when you said send help was " There is no help, only Zuul...")

Okay I just have to say... that while I don't subscribe to stereotypes... it excites me that there seem to be many girls with the same obsession for beauty/make-up and video games. You would think I would know this already after going to cons... but for whatever reason I am still surprised.

I loved DIII on the PC until they RUINED the cash Auction House.  Such a great idea, so horribly implemented, abused, and excluding of players.  Ugh.  Maybe I'll try it on the console now that I think they ended that AH model.

Also, for the line in parenthesis alone, I'm giggling like a schoolgirl.  A nerdy, friendless schoolgirl, but a schoolgirl nonetheless :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Chrono Trigger is one of my favorite all-time games.  Skyrim is up there (and likely the most recent).  Resident Evil II is my favorite of the series and probably my ABSOLUTE all-time favorite.  Kingdom Hearts, FFVI (best ever) and FFVII.  Hell, I'd even shove FFVIII up there on the list.

Wow.  I am a huge nerd.

Cons are the best.  Half of the people look like they hadn't showered in months and the other half are makeup junkies (it goes well with the cosplay element).

Man...so I've been reading this thread hoping to talk myself out of the mystery box and now we're onto gaming. Love it!! Ok so question..I just got into Skyrim(quickly became my obsessive favorite despite being behind basically everything and everyone) and I'm pretty much done with Dead Red Redemption-Undead Nightmare, Far Cry 3 and Assassin's Creed Black Flag. I'm not a huge gamer (yep this is why I had never heard of Skyrim until a year ago) and would love some rec's from you guys about new shit to play.

Loving this intense nail polish to video game discussion LOL I love watching my boyfriend play. I never cried so hard over a video game in red dead redemption and I actually named my dachshund Marston haha. The only game I play is The Sims series since I'm so hardcore. Sims 4 is already preordered :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'm playing on PC. I do love Chrono Trigger, but Oblivion is by far my most favorite game, Haven't gotten around to Skyrim, but thats only because I didn't finish Oblivion until earlier this year and then becasue obsessed with Sims Mideval. Once I finish with DIII, Skyrim is my next choice. But you never know I might get side tracked again and start something completely different.

Is it weird that I absolutely hated all of the Final Fantasy Games? I was told that most girls prefer it, but I just didn't like the slow pace of it. I want action and blood!!!

If you liked Skyrim, Oblivion would be an obvious choice since it's still in the Elder Scrolls family and you can pick it up used on the cheap. The Fable series is also something that immediately jumps out as being of similar genre. Additionally, I'm not sure, when you mention AC, if you're discussing ALL the AC games, but they're almost ALL worth giving a shot. Red Dead Redemption is amazing, so at least you're playing good games! Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2 are pretty silly in story, but they make for a fun play through when you're making fun of dialog! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> The Batman Arkham City and Arkham Asylum games are dark, but very fun and worth a run through if you haven't played them yet. Also, and this should go without saying to most, but if you haven't played Portal AND Portal 2, you're missing out on two of the greatest games in the past decade (although if anyone hasn't played the original Portal, I likely have a giftable copy on Steam that I could send along to them for free). Last, but certainly NOT least, do yourself a favor and play the Bioshock series. I still contend that the first is the best, but it's an all-around good series and everyone should play it.

It's a littler weird, but, honestly, I didn't like a single on until VI, so maybe it has something to do with that?  Not sure which ones you've tried, but it's the story line that makes these games and, until VI, I had NEVER cried playing a video game.  It sealed it for me.  The latest ones that I've played (XIII and XIII-2) have a ridiculous plot and I played them more to laugh than anything else.  Not everyone likes FF, but two or three of the series still would make my "games to play before you die" list if anyone asked.   :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

You are awesome, we are all awesome, this thread is awesome.

My dachshund is named Hand Banana.  Our beagle is Spaghetti.  Not sure if there are cartoon nerds here, but yeah, we're an all-around nerdy family over here.   :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

The BF has every single one so I have tried them all. I have a theory that if I hate something after 3 hours of play...it's never going to get any better so I just walk away. The BF is more into FPS so we tend to end up in different rooms playing different games. He actually runs a website called WhipAssGaming, which focuses mainly on retro gaming, but we do have the newer systems.

I just looked up the site and it hasn't been updated in a couple of years (although, since it's about retro gaming mostly, I guess that's negligible).  I am reading his site now, but he should pick it back up because it looks like it has a lot of potential, especially if he can get you involved (girl gaming perspective is always awesome).

Got my tracking number, the box is 1.4 lbs!  I'm hoping the products are from the holiday shop!

Hmmmm...I wonder if the boxes are all different or if they are just entering random numbers under weight.  Mine is listed at 1.6414 lbs, but I guess 1/5th of a pound isn't a whole lot of weight.

There are probably different versions again. Usually I always get the crappiest version, but since I know I like the LE polishes I'll be fine if I don't like anything else haha.

Either that or you are getting the earrings! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

BWAHAHA I do not get luck like that, number one, and, secondly, 1/5th of a pound may not be that much weight, but it sure as heck is way more than a pair of earrings would weigh.  Plus, call me a pessimist, but I bought on the first day and I think I got the first round of shipping notifications.  I think they'd wait on sending the earrings out to keep the suspense high and try to entice more people to order.

Honestly though, I'm hoping for more polishes than beauty products.  I get enough makeup and creams in my other subs.  I buy Julep so that my nails look purdy.   :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
