I think it would be great with Elaborate lipglass on top! I think any matte lipsticks in deep colors need a lipgloss on top, but overall I think the color works for you.

Lipgloss is a good idea.. but not tooo shiny otherwise you'll lose the pin-up girl look! Maybe a glaze?

I voted "not sure". I'd like to see a bit of shine over it. No doubt, you definitely can wear red.

You should try reds that are brick or garnet based. If your skintone is more on the olive side, then your reds will have a touch of orange in them.

 
I like it, it would look really good with your eyes done, I'm sure!!!!! And I like it matte, I have this thing for matte lipsticks, very retro, and you have great lips for red lipstick also!!!!

 
looks nice on u, but i think its might be a little too much. i'd say tone color down

a bit.

 
I think its pretty. It reminds me of a russian ballerina! Anyways, I dont think gloss is going to be the right step to make, shiny bright red lips make me think of porn.

It might need to look a bit more moist, like the lips on the girl in The Devil Wears Prada. Sometimes the red matte can look a little geisha -KWIM? But since I cant really tell how it looks IRL - its hard to say if they are 'too matte'

Lucky girl to be able to rock a red!!

it looks harsh because the rest of her face is unmade. When she has on e/s and a blush it'll look totally different. I like it a lot.
 
I like the color, but agree with the matte finish. Maybe instead of a clear gloss you could go with one with a pearl or gold shimmer?

Also, I have braces too and like to play up my lips. I figure, why hide em? Go with it!

I like it, it makes you look dominate and powerful. You could defenitely wear that color. Even a dark Red Lipcolor would look good on ya. You could pull both off. I really like. With black eyeliner and red lips hot.

 
Hmmm, I dont know. To be honest there are concepts of makeup that can only suit a specific type of girl. Generally speaking, I guess you could say there are three types. Those who don't really need to wear makeup, those who wear somewhat, and those who make it obvious that they're wearing makeup (i.e. dark colors) Im not sure if I explained this well. Although I love the color, I dont like how it looks on you. You seem more of the natural cool kind of girl so this definately looks too harsh. But a nice coral would look fantastic!

 
I think that that red is fabulous for an evening look. It would be gorgeous along with a stunning black velvet dress with a hint of either silver or gold gloss in the middle of the lip.
