I have a serious addiction to makeup, nail and hair supplies.  The only thing that keeps me in check is my husband.  I spent over $3k on makeup in less than 5 months!  I have a serious addiction, no doubt.  Hubby has put me on a no-buy for the past 6 months, but I still sneak in buying things when he's not paying attention.  I get busted once in a while, but I try really hard not to. lol  For Mother's Day he gave me $100 to spend on makeup and I still haven't spent it all.  I've got $40 left.  Not sure what to spend it on yet.  My birthday is on Sunday, so I'm asking for more money to shop for makeup with! LOL  I'm going to get around this no-buy one way or another! hahaha 

I shop mainly online, so I have to just not turn on my computer to keep from shopping.  Hubby threatened to split up checking accounts and paying our own ways if I don't quit purchasing makeup, nail and hair products without discussing it first.  Sucks!  But I have to keep that in mind and keep my computer turned off to not purchase anymore.  So I have a big reason not to go shopping, I don't want to split checkbooks!  Good luck to you!

Thanks, it hasn't been too difficult not to spend it.  With as much as I have purchased, and so quickly, I have so much stuff that hasn't even been opened or tried, so not sure whatelse I need.  I really want YSL Touche Eclat, but I'm not sure how to use it.  If someone could be so kind as to tell me how it works, I'd be greatful. TIA!  If anyone has any suggestions on how to spend my last $40, I'm all ears! LOL

 
I use the dupe for it which is the maybelline double face perfecter.  It's not concealer it's something your supposed to use for undereye circles either alone or in top of your concealer.  It has light reflecting properties. 



 
Girl I hear u!!!!! And my fiancé i also my "you DONT NEED MORE STUFF" person. It's kind of like a relationship a recovering alcoholic has with their mentor. You know it's bad too when I use the "going to CVS for female stuff" as an excuse to go look at/buy makeup....then "accidentally end up at sephora and put all the stuff in the CVS bag so he doesn't ask questions LOL!!

When you go to Sephora but make sure you go to McDonalds for a small fries just to make sure you have a different bag to put your "loot" in when you come in the house.......

^LOL right! Well I just stuff it all in the CVS bag then briskly walk to the bathroom then dump the "loot" into the cabinet and bring it out piece by piece into the makeup room LOL. NO, I DONT have a problem lmfao!

 
My weakness is not Sephora, but... DRUGSTORES. like Shoppers Drug Mart and London Drugs here in Canada.

I always buy things on SALE, or anything with FREE gifts, buy one get other half off, etc.

the marketing gets to me, even though i am a designer working for marketing and advertising...haha. oh the irony.

I've been fantasizing about getting the OCC lip tars - the primary red, the primary yellow, the pure white, and pure magenta so that I can mix my own colours! Oh how fun.

It will cost me about 52 dollars plus shipping and tax.

 
Shoppers Drug Mart has a $10 gift card with $50 purchase right now!!! I've got to go.  Metrotown Shoppers' carries Anna Sui products.  

 
OMG me too. We should so go and film a MuT haul! But then again w/ my luck we'd be pulled over at customs and searched and detained lmfao!!!

Oh cool! Sears's got Anna Sui as well.

There's a yaletown Shoppers Drug Mart and a few others in downtown that have those beauty boutiques...they look very PRETTY! with some quality, high end brands :eek: /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Oh boy CENSOR THIS! LOL!!!! I've already just looked and found my passport. I love the beer store you all have in Canada too. Gawd this could be a failfest over-the-boader-wallet-drainer for me!!!
