wtf is wrong with this lady? Is it too early to post on the wall for people not to sign up, lol? I mean, she is running this thing through a gmail email address, people don't see that as shady...idk what they would find shady.
Lol! My thoughts exactly!

Unfortunately people just don't know. They think a "replica" is like a "dupe" when in reality it's a counterfeit. Unlike buying a counterfeit/fake/replica of a Chanel bag, buying a counterfeit Chanel eyeshadow can cause all kinds of problems like pinkeye to potential lead poisoning.

Their Beauty Bomb Bag is wrapped like a candle I once got for winning a contest at a baby shower.

I found the Twitter/blog/Facebook of a girl who seems to be somehow associated with Ready Set Go. She has a YouTube video promoting it, and is also promoting the subscription and their contests on her other pages. She never directly says its her company, but she was the second subscription on the Ready Set Go Twitter. She also posts quite a bit about MAC replicas, so that sort of tipped me off. The fonts on her logo background image of her Facebook page are also similar to those of Ready Set Go, in addition to posting some of the same images found on their page.

(Sorry I work as a researcher and I'm on my last week of summer vacation so I really have nothing better to do with my time than, uh, research, ha!)

Which brings me to another knock-off site she seems to promote, Ms. Mac Makeup, also doing a "Swag Bag" subscription service.

Just fyi you can report photos and pages as a scam on facebook don't know if it is effective but it is a thing you can do.

Is it considered a scam though if she admits it isn't real MAC and customers are still getting what they paid for? I don't really know the logistics of the law.

In my opinion, this is no better than people selling fake Coach purses in cheap gift shops and flea markets. In fact, it is actually worse. I wear contacts, and even legitimate eye makeup sometimes irritates my eyes. There's no way would I put something on my face that could potentially harm me and came from who knows where. At least a fake purse doesn't jeopardize someone's health and there's been a HUGE crackdown on those in the last several years.

You are awesome!

Seriously though, what is up with this one? >>  http://www.facebook.com/Ms.MACViPs

The girls that know that these are fake and willingly buy and use it deserve the side effects. Romanian Butterfly has a "beauty blog" and that makes me sick.

Well "replicas" as she calls them are illegal, so yes its a scam, at least I would say. She is duping people who aren't well informed on make up, imo. But as far as legality actually goes of what she is doing, I have no idea, but either way, I don't think facebook would want it run through their site. Not sure they'll see it or do anything about it, but it takes 2 seconds to report it, so why not?

You're right! I'm sure it is in Facebook's terms of service somewhere that it is not a hub for illegal merchandise, so I reported all the pages mentioned on this thread. I don't think she operates a legitimate website anywhere, so seeing as how she's using Facebook as the prime marketplace for Ready, Set, Go, I doubt they'd like that too much. We'll see if anything happens!

Eww I would not want to put a product on my face not knowing what is in it. Especially a counterfit product!!

Based on the fact that I was banned from romanianbutterfly's page on fb for asking if these were fake...I'm going to assume everyone involved knows they are doing something wrong and is trying to scam people who are not informed.

I'm not banned from their wall - yet - but my comments were removed. Just keep reporting it to MAC, Chanel, Dior, Benefit, etc since they offer "replicas" of there products. It may take time but they will be shut down.

I think people should also report the ms mac since she has tons of fake mac for sale! Like someone said she has the 'swag bags' she even sells a fake Urban Decay Naked palette! It's not even a "great quality" replica you can tell just by a glance that it is fake!
