I totally feel for you. I've never found a Fancy box I like, but I was so tempted by the Pink box because I just love her. I thought the box would be reflective of her style, and I thought it would be so awesome. I was talked out of getting it, and when I saw what you got, I genuinely felt bad for those who subscribed. It almost felt like bait and switch. You were told Pink would be curating a box - but then got a random array (and not even that much stuff) of crap, some that was duplicates of other boxes, not Pink-specific. For as much as they charge, I can't believe they sent that box and thought people wouldn't complain. I hope you get your money back!!!

I just sent them an e-mail telling them how I feel... I will let you all know what happens.

 
I have never been so disappointed by a sub before and I used to sub to Sindulge. Now, I understand I sub to all of the boxes because of the surprises but DAAAAMN! They literally threw random, fugly crap into a Pink x Fancy box and called it a day. I didn't know if I should be confused or upset tbh. I emailed and asked if this box was a mistake or if this it and asked if I could return for refund. I will let you guys know what happens.

I sent them an e-mail and they replied back so quickly.  They wouldn't refund my money or take the box back and instead offered me a $25 gift card... I'm still not happy and will be writing another e-mail.

Pink seriously has the worst taste.  The worst.

 
I cancelled right after I opened up the box. I know I'm always taking a gamble on sub boxes but this one was a little odd. I wasn't mad, just a little confused. I never expected the combo of things especially from Pink supposedly. The tee shirt is very soft I just hope it shrinks a little more. I got a medium even though I specified on small size like they asked. And the book is just off the wall... good coffee table piece I guess! Oh well, you win some you lose some. Plus I used the coupon for this one anyways like everyone else it seems!

I couldn't agree with you more, it's a gamble you take.  But I seriously feel like they took unwanted leftovers and put them in our box because I seriously feel they were trying to clear out inventory.  That and they were so late shipping them out in the first place that I think they just gave us what they could get their hands on.  Whatever the case may be I won't be re-subing to a Fancy curated box by anyone famous... In fact, I'm kinda over Fancy at the moment.

 
I consider subs like expensive grab bags. I never complain about what I get because I paid for a grab bag! But in this case, you got ripped off. You can't blatantly rip people off. This wasn't worth the money, but more than that, it wasn't what you were lead to believe you were getting. I can't even believe a reputable business took your money, sent you that small box of crap, and actually think they held up their end of the bargain. Rip. Off. I'm not even subscribed to this box, and I'm appalled and mad about it! I hope you all get your money back or some really AH-Mazing goodies to make up for this!

lol, I got nothing amazing of the sort... they wouldn't take the box back or refund my money, all they gave me was a $25 gift card...I'm still so miffed.

I was super unhappy with my Pink box as well, especially since 1) I love Pink and 2) I have loved the past two regular Fancy Boxes I got. I googled and found that the value for all the items was well below the promised $80.

Atlas of Remote Islands – $19.80 (Amazon)

Body Art Paint Sticks – $8.49 (Perpetual Kid)

Casino Bottle Opener – $7.90 (Amazon)

Shirt – $21.60 (http://wordboner.spreadshirt.com)

Total = $57.79

The $20 gift card to Pop Canvas brings the total to $77.79 (still under $80), however the cheapest thing you can get from Pop Canvas is $30 with $14 shipping, meaning you have to spend an additional $24 to utilize the giftcard.

That is all totally unacceptable! I e-mailed the company and they responded:

I am really not thrilled with that, especially if the gift card is only $10 (which added to the value of the box still wouldn't make it an $80 value!) I will keep my regular FB sub for now, but I will never buy a curated box again, and will definitely consider not doing business with them in the future. I definitely won't recommend them to anyone now!

Did Pink seriously select these items?  I read the comments (before the bad ones were removed) and can't even believe that even one person thought it was amazing.

 
Yea I find it hard to believe that Pink selected the items in the box and I find it even more hard to believe that anyone found this box so amazing, because it was the biggest flop!!!

I saw the spoilers for this box days ago and was pretty disappointed.  I got my box yesterday and for some reason just got down right mad.  It just seemed like a box full of bargain bin crap.  4 things in that big ole box.  I was gonna stick around for another month since they said they would throw in something extra next month for being so late, but after I got my hands on the box I was like "H*LL NAW" (yes I do talk like that).  What are they gonna throw in extra...a pencil with the word F**K on it???  I went to cancel and it said that I could cancel, but I would still get next months box. Freakin Freak!!  I'm pretty sure Pink would be/is (or should be) really embarrassed by this crap of a box.

Glad to know I'm not the only one that was so disappointed and mad about this box.  I saw the spoilers as well and was not happy and it wasn't until I got my box that I wanted to drop kick it across the room... I was so unbelieveably angry.  I sincerely hope that for those of you that got charged for next months box that they do something  to make-up for this disaster for a box because I think that if they haven't lost a lot of people they are about to lose a whole heck of a lot more!

 
I bought 2 of the regular Fancy box for my son and myself 3 months ago.  After 3 boxes neither of us were really thrilled.  Sure they had something interesting we liked, but for the most part we found it to be stuff we'd never use and therefore even if over the price we paid not entirely worth it either.  I hated never knowing when the box was going to ship - I never received a shipping notice until weeks after we already received the box.  I cancelled last month.  They say that you will get the next month's box when you cancel, but if they have not billed you yet you won't be charged or receive it - thankfully!

I was thinking about trying the Pink box but will say I am very happy I decided to wait and see if it was worth it or not.  As for them deleting comments I have found that to be the case.  My not so glowing comment was erased within minutes of posting it...I find that to be very shady when a company resorts to only allowing positive and glowing comments to remain.
