Beckybum69.....yes, girlfriend I have...and it SUCKS!!!!!!

Fun with Dick and Jane ..is No Fun! I am a huge Dumb and Dumber fan (his finest work) and forgave him for the Truman Show ( I mean..WTF was that really about?) but there is no excuse for this homogenized piece of junk. I don't even think I'm making sense anymore. Please, if you MUST SEE This, at least wait until it comes out on DVD or whatever and you can return it early and get another GOOD movie...like Walk the Line or Just Like Heaven!!!

Regina,

You are one Brave Woman. How in the you-know-what did you do that?

I'm like dixiewolf. Homey don't watch Scary Movies.

But I want to see Brokeback Mountain. What was shocking to you about it? You knew it was about two gay cowboys, right? I don't know, I'm just asking, as when it comes to movies I like to get everybody's opinion.....

Wedding Crashers was mental, I thought, but Owen Wilson.....me like:icon_love

Wow! I've certainely missed alot of posting on this thread. I have a ton of movies I want to check out now!! I still haven't returned my Netflix movies from December. I'm so lazy.

Recently rented Crash (very good), and Mask of Zorro (cute, but nothing special). Went to see Underworld 2 on Saturday. It was good, especially if you love vampire movies like I do :icon_chee

i saw mulholland drive and memento. they were both very strange movies, but interesting to watch.

I watched Pride and Prejudice and loved it! I had read the book when I was a kid...and watching the story come on screen was just great. And Kiera Knightly looks good too...

I also watched The Family Stone...it was just ok. Not that humurous as the trailer shows it to be...

I had to think for a moment which is said since I just watched two new to me movies last week. LOL Anyways, I watched "War of the Worlds", "Flight Plan" and "The Skeleton Key". I liked them both but had som eproblems with them too. LOL

War of the Worlds and Flight Plan were good until the end. The ends of these movies just left me feeling as if I needed more.

The Skeleton Key was good but some parts were very predictable. But the ending was GREAT!!! I didn't see that coming at all. LOL

Those are some very strange ones, indeed! I liked Mulholland Drive but Memento was too hard to follow from what I can remember.

I recently watched In Her Shoes. It was ok.

yeah lisa, i agree memento was rather hard to follow. i prefer mulholland drive out of the two, but both were interesting cause they were so different from normal movies.

Very true. Have you seen eXistenZ? If not, you should rent it. That one messed with my head.

movies iv seen recently was interview with the vampire, 2 fast 2 furious, 40 days 40 night and last night i went to see final destination 3, that movies freaky.

I am having a bad week so my mom suggested we see a movie or go on a vacation, I just said blah. I cant think of anything in the theatres I havent seen that I want to. She keeps mentioning Family Stone, but I think I would get sad.

What? Oh no, Amanda. Why would the Family Stone make you sad? Oh no. I used to get like this sometimes. Do not even think of going down into that black snake hole!! Rent "Hey Dude, where's my car" or something stupid...

Why did I write snake hole? I meant black hole. You know. Please don't go there. We'll make you laugh. Go to the Jokes Forum. ok.

I'll stop my lame attempt at cheering you up.

:icon_eek::icon_chee:icon_evil:icon_sad: :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />:-- :rolleyes:

Anyone seen Memoirs of a Geisha yet? I thought it was a very pretty movie and I guess I learned a lot about another culture too.

The Island(ok)

The Constant Gardener(great)

Skeleton Key(scary-great)

Two for the Money(yummy)

*************Spoiler Warning*******************

for

Brokeback Mountain

Why didn't anybody tell me about this movie ? I cried harder than I can ever remember crying at any movie the last 15 minutes of this movie. When he goes into the closet and finds that shirt and its all bloody and he starts crying I just lost it completely in the theatre...which was completely sold out on a Sat night her in Switzerland. Ang Lee is a fantastic director and there was a Mood to this whole movie. I mean, you knew in your gut from the get go something tragic was going to happen, but it had such a gloomy, dark and dank feel when they were apart and trying to live lives of lies. I also think a lot of poeple came to this movie thinking there were going to see something way more graphic and sensational than the realistic way it was portrayed. I mean, I had a couple (2 guys ) sitting next to me expecting some form of softcore gay porn. They were like "this is kind of slow" during the break. I have to say it was one of the best films I have ever seen.:clap:icon_cry::icon_cry:

I saw it and really likied it. The MU was awesome and the movie score was mvery moving.

I just seen "Date Movie" and I was bit dissapointed. I thought it would be funnier. It had its moments though.

Last weekend my boyfriend and I saw "Final Destination 3"... I was way too into the 2nd one, so I *kinda* had to watch FD3 just to close up the series.. I think they are done.. It ended so weird that I couldn't tell (but I hope they don't) if they are making another one... I am really into special effects- and how things happen and how things look certain ways... Gross, but cool.
